Apocalypse x Bowsette

Crafting the Bowsette cosplay in an apocalyptic style was an endeavor that spanned two weeks and involved resourcefulness and creativity. Thrifted items and recycled clothing formed the foundation of the costume, while carefully selected materials were repurposed to capture the essence of both Bowsette and Junker Queen.

One of the standout features of this cosplay is the pauldrons, ingeniously made from an old Mario board game toy that was carefully cut apart and painted. Various skirts and dresses were repurposed to create the distinctive layered skirts, while the top was skillfully crafted from an old cut-up tee shirt. 3D-printed horns, crown, and a replica of Roadhog's weapon from Overwatch, along with a 3D-printed hook prop, added the finishing touches to this unique mashup.

I embarked on this cosplay to be part of a larger apocalyptic Mario group with Rubber City Cosplay, aiming to combine the worlds of Super Mario and Overwatch in an imaginative and visually striking way. The concept of an apocalyptic Bowsette inspired by Junker Queen presented a thrilling opportunity to showcase my creativity and pay homage to two beloved characters in the gaming realm.
