While the base costume for Yae Miko was store-bought, I delved into the intricacies of customization and personalization to make it truly my own. A key aspect of this customization involved 3D printing all of Yae Miko's accessories, allowing me to replace the original components and add a unique touch to the costume. This attention to detail and dedication to authenticity played a crucial role in bringing Yae Miko to life.

Additionally, I sought to elevate the costume's overall aesthetic by incorporating real trim and ribbon into the skirt, enhancing its visual appeal and adding an extra layer of craftsmanship. Every embellishment was carefully chosen and added with precision, paying homage to the intricate design elements that define Yae Miko's appearance.

One of the standout features of Yae Miko's character design is her massively spikey hair, which presents a styling challenge. I took it upon myself to meticulously style the wig from scratch, ensuring that every spike was in place and captured the essence of her distinct hairstyle. Furthermore, I added her iconic fox ears into the wig, allowing for a seamless and faithful representation of the character.

The decision to cosplay Yae Miko stemmed from my deep connection to the character as my main in Genshin Impact. I found immense joy in immersing myself in her personality, playfully donning her outfit, and even reciting her memorable voice lines. Yae Miko's spirited nature and strong-willed character initially drew me to her, and cosplaying her became a way for me to celebrate and express my admiration for this remarkable character.
